Nigeria owned digital marketing platform, Deyo Digital, said it has concluded plans to invest $1m into the sector to address the challenges faced with digital marketing.
In a statement, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, David Adebayo, said the company came on board to solve the hustle and bustle of traditional marketing by harnessing the potential of digital marketing using search engine optimisation.
While noting that the platform would drive online traffic to businesses, he said, “Deyo Digital saw a need to solve the hustle and bustle of traditional marketing by harnessing the potential of digital marketing using SEO.
“Business owners benefit a ton of organic traffic to their website. The platform is willing to invest $1m into the market.”
The government could not come up with a lasting solution other than to safe guard your health. Meanwhile, what people and businesses were dealing with was how to survive the hunger in the land rather than staying alive. When we saw the pandemic hit, you would have thought what’s next because people stopped spending.
“Businesses stopped spending. And almost everyone felt it initially. But as the months went on, things started to change as most people started working from home. Advertising on social media and Google search increased by over 700 per cent as reported that some businesses were doing alright.”
