Airpeace Aircraft From Port Harcourt Crash Lands In Lagos

Air passengers on board an Airpeace airline were this afternoon thrown into confusion when the aircraft from Port Harcourt made an emergency landing at the Murtala Mohammed airport Lagos.

The aircraft on approach into Lagos Airport had a technical issue which resulted in the pilot making an emergency landing in heavy rainfall there by resulting in the damage of the nose wheel of the aircraft, but no life was lost.

It crash landed at the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, MM2, and Lagos state after losing its tyres.

The Air peace Boeing 737 landing gear collapsed after dropping 30 ft shortly before landing at the Lagos Airport.

Recall that In June 2019 the Air Peace Boeing 737-500 with registration 5N-BRN overshot the runway and skidded into the bush at the Port Harcourt Airport, Nigeria. On-board the aircraft were 87 passengers and six crew members, however nobody was injured.
