PA Akintola Williams has expressed gratitude to God for allowing him reach one hundred years.
He spoke at his centenary birthday celebration which took place at the muson centre in Lagos where eminent Nigerians including the former Nigeria president Olusegun obasanjo, former head of state general yakubu gowon, former commonwealth secretary general Emeka anyaokwu, former governor of Ogun state Ibikunle Amosun among others gathered to celebrate him.
PA Akintola Williams born 9 august 1919 was the first African to qualify as a chartered accountant.
He was also celebrated by the institute of chartered accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)
