Ilepo fire update: LASG create shelter for 300 displaced residents

The Lagos state government has commenced relief activities for about 300 persons displaced by the pipeline fire which occurred at Ilepo NNPC pipeline on Sunday night.

Director General Lagos state emergency management agency LASEMA who disclosed this in a statement said this became necessary following a request received from the AGBADO/OKE ODO LCDA CHAIRMAN, Augustine Arogun for LASEMA relief assistance.

The affected residents estimated to be about 300 including children were displaced in the resultant fire from the pipeline explosion.

Osanyitolu said the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu has given his approval for immediate commencement of relief camp activities and support for the affected people at the state’s RELIEF CAMP, IGANDO, LAGOS.
