Immigration arrests six traffickers, victims at Seme border

The Nigeria immigration service NIS Lagos airport command has stopped the departure of another set of young females from travelling to the middle East for alleged human trafficking.

Lagos Airport comptroller of the NIS Usman Abdullahi the nine females are between the age of twenty one and thirty two that are traveling for unknown employment.

The denials he said lt was between Sunday and Tuesday.

Abdullahi noted that the upon interrogation the girls were not even aware of where they are going saying they are going for employment in Dubai and Lebanon.

He noted that despite the daily departure refusal, the persons who are between the ages of 21/32 are adamant as they still troope to the murtala Mohammed international airport Lagos in a bid to travel for greener pasture.
