Deontay Wilder was taken straight to hospital after his defeat to Tyson Fury.
The British heavyweight dethroned Wilder in stunning fashion in their rematch in Las Vegas, with Fury scoring two knockdowns before the towel was thrown in by the beaten champion’s corner in the seventh round.
Wilder had blood pouring from his left ear and never recovered from a third-round knockdown.
The Bronze Bomber was forced to miss the post-fight press conference, as he was transported to hospital.
