Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo clocks 44

Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu simply known as Kanu clocks 44 today, August 1, 2020, and his wife, Amara, and others are celebrating the living legend.

Kanu who hails from Abia State, Southeast Nigeria ended his international career following Nigeria’s exit from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

He also most notably played for Ajax, Inter Milan, and English Premier League club Arsenal.

Celebrating his birthday, Kanu also known as Papiloo from a popular TV Ad, wrote on his social media pages; “I THANK GOD FOR TODAY🙏🙏🙏.HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU ALL. His wife and mother of his three children also took to Instagram to pray for the legend.

She wrote; “Happy Birthday to my King. I love you long time. Thanks for all you do and all that you are @kingkanu4 🙌🏽❤”
